Yemen’s Children Call For Help — Join Sh Yusuf Badat in Saving Their Lives Amidst Crisis

Today, in Yemen:

In short, our brothers and sisters in Yemen are struggling to survive amidst food shortages, inflation, and growing poverty. They’re trapped in a cycle of constant misery with no way out.

As the humanitarian crisis in Yemen escalates, Good Deed Charity is working day and night to help feed the neediest of people in the country, thanks to Allah’s support and hearty donations by generous people like yourself.

Through all 4 of GDC’s bakeries, we are able to:

⭐ Provide 25,000 of FREE Yemeni bread (Kudma) to the people daily

⭐ Provide employment to the sole breadwinners of some of the neediest families

⭐ Help fight hunger, malnutrition, and growing poverty in the country — all in one go!

Good Deed Charity was founded with one mission: to bring hope to Yemen’s neediest. Today, we have helped millions of Yemeni families, by providing them with food, shelter, aid, and everything they need to survive amidst the crisis.

But it all started with just one child: Yusef, the very first child beneficiary of GDC.

When the GDC team first met Yusef, he was so severely malnourished that his bones showed through his skin, and doctors told his family he had only a year to live.

Fortunately, miracles happen every day, and with the support of our donors, Yusef not only survived—he fully recovered and now enjoys a happy, healthy life.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Maulana Shaikh Yusuf Badat is a well-known Imam in Canada. Since 1999, he has also been an Imam at Masjid Anwar-Ul–Islam of Malton (Masjid Saleheen) in Mississauga, Canada.

Having studied under some great scholars, Sh Yusuf Badat has received several formal authorizations in the sacred sciences with top honors and remains committed to the sacred sciences. He also holds authorizations in Hadith under the Grand Mufti of South Africa and is currently an Ontario registered minister of religion & licensed marriage officer.

Shaykh Yusuf Badat is also a teacher of various Islamic subjects and the founder and director of the Mathabah Institute. He is an active executive member of the Canadian Council of Muslim Theologians CCMT. Needless to say, he is passionate about guiding the Ummah and helping them remain on the right path.

As part of his humanitarian efforts to help the deserving of the Ummah, Sh Yusuf Badat has now partnered with GDC to raise funds and help the Ummah thrive as a community, and as individuals.

ABOUT GOOD DEED CHARITY

Good Deed Charity was co-founded by Dr Mohammed Alazani, father of 6, and a distinguished cardiovascular surgeon in Germany. Dr. Mohammed is originally from Yemen, and he took it upon himself to help the people of his country.

At first alone, then with a group of his medical colleagues. In 2019, he realized he could do much more with a registered charity and local office in Yemen and established Good Deed Charity.

By funding the administrative costs associated with running a charity through his own pockets and with the help of his colleagues, Good Deed Charity has remained a 100% Donation Policy charity, putting 100% of your donations to work on the ground.

Today, Good Deed Charity is one of only 2 charities in Europe that has a registered office in Yemen.

For this reason, we have a dedicated delivery team that knows how to navigate the country in order to facilitate local relief operations in Yemen on behalf of other big charities such as:
We are also registered as a nonprofit organization in the United Kingdom (tax-deductible) exclusively focused on supporting the needy in Yemen.

Having a local office in Yemen allows us to provide our supporters with full transparency through videos and photos highlighting the direct impact of your donations on an on-going basis. At the same time, none of your donations are being redirected towards middlemen to provide any services.
