Aren’t you forgetting something? 🤔
Something like ‘donate for Qurbani ahead of time for the needy around the world?’
You might not be consciously aware of this but the fact that you get to devour meat whenever you wish to—in this day and age—is a HUGE blessing.
For many people across the world, Eid ul Adha is the ONLY time of the year when they get to enjoy a meat feast.
In Yemen alone, more than 17.3 million people are struggling with unprecedented levels of hunger and food insecurity.
With food prices and the overall cost of living soaring at an all-time high, your Qurbani has never been more vital.
“My children cannot tolerate the hunger the way I do”
— A mother of four children in Yemen, Fatima Muhammed Saeed.
After nearly a decade of conflict, 4.6 million people in Yemen are displaced and struggling to survive without any source of income.
Fatima fled conflict alongside her four children leaving everything behind. Once, they used to have sheep and livestock. They lived happily, drank cow and goat milk, bought and ate wheat, sugar, and tea, and were able to afford everything they needed.
But now…
Fatima ties a cloth tightly around her stomach to endure hunger. Despite her best efforts, she is unable to provide food for her children most days, leaving her no choice but to watch her children suffer. When there’s food, it’s often just sauce and bread. Fatima sacrifices her share, ensuring her four children are fed, while she takes only a meager portion for herself.
Needless to say, the food they have neither provides nutrition nor suffices their hunger.
And this is the untold story of millions of mothers in Yemen.
On occasions like Eid, nothing changes. They wake up hungry and go to bed hungry. In between all of this, where can any child or any parent find the energy to break through the cycle of misery, hunger, and poverty?
This Eid ul Adha, you can ease their struggles, give them an opportunity to break through this vicious cycle, and…
Not many people know that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, the Prophet SAW used to give a second Qurbani on behalf of those in his Ummah who were unable to give. This extra sacrifice is called the Prophetic Qurbani.
There is wisdom in everything the Prophet SAW did, and great benefit in following Him.
Kathir bin Abdullah narrates that his grandfather said, ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say, “Whoever revives a Sunnah of mine that dies out after I am gone, he will have a reward equivalent to that of those among the people who act upon it, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest…”’ (Ibn Majah)
So this Eid-ul-Adha, revive a forgotten Sunnah; double your reward AND your impact by giving a Prophetic Qurbani.
Last year, we distributed Qurbani across X areas to Y families in Yemen. This year, we aim to share it with even more people and share the blessings of Eid across Z areas.
But we cannot achieve this without your support…
Today, in Yemen, times are as hard as they can get for our brothers and sisters…
Did you know?
⏱️ Every 10 minutes, 1 child in Yemen dies from preventable causes like hunger.
😢 Mothers are being forced to choose between either providing life-saving medicines for their sick children or feeding the rest.
❌ More than 85,000 children under the age of 5 have died because of extreme hunger. Children who die in this way undergo immense suffering as their vital organ functions slow down gradually before they eventually stop.
Under these circumstances, don’t you agree that the people of Yemen genuinely deserve to have some meat right now, more than most of us do?
With Eid-ul-Adha just around the corner, and days being as hard as they are in Yemen today…
There’s no time for second thoughts.
If Ramadan gave you a reason to give in charity, share your blessings, and spread smiles, then Eid ul Adha provides you with a similar opportunity.
In fact, it is one of the best ten days of the year! The Prophet (saw) said, ‘There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than in these (ten) days.’ [Abu Dawud]
Qurbani is one of the greatest acts of worship you can engage in this Dhul Hijjah.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“For every hair of the Qurbani, you will receive a reward from Allah, and for every strand of its wool you will receive a reward.”
[Tirmidhi]
But this year, you can amplify your rewards even more.
How?
Because when you donate to Yemen, you’re fulfilling your obligation as a Muslim & you’re also contributing to a dire humanitarian crisis.
You will be making a real difference in the lives of many…

Good Deed Charity was founded by Dr Mohammed Alazani, father of 6, and a distinguished cardiology surgeon in Germany.
Dr. Mohamed is originally from Yemen, and he took it upon himself to help the people of his country. At first alone, then with a group of his medical colleagues. In 2019, he realized he could do much more with a registered charity and local office in Yemen and established Good Deed Charity.
Today, Good Deed Charity is one of only 2 charities in Europe that has a registered office in Yemen.
For this reason, we have a dedicated delivery team that knows how to navigate the country in order to facilitate local relief operations in Yemen on behalf of other big charities such as:
We are also registered as a nonprofit organization in the United Kingdom and Germany, exclusively focused on supporting the needy in Yemen.
Having a local office in Yemen allows us to provide our supporters with full transparency through videos and photos highlighting the direct impact of your donations on an on-going basis.
✅100% of your donation is used to feed families, not for admin costs.
✅ Our selective process ensures all the livestock used in Qurbani is of high quality.
✅ We don’t rely on partnerships. We are on the ground ourselves! — We have our own office on the ground in Yemen with local staff and volunteers.
✅ We prioritize regions where food is scarce and families who haven’t consumed meat in the past year.
✅ We are one of two charities in Europe that is registered in Yemen, making it easy to deal with red tape and get funds to Yemen.
✅ We are a registered charity in the UK (tax-deductible)
✅ We have a dedicated delivery team that knows how to navigate the country in order to facilitate local relief operations in Yemen on behalf of other big charities such as:
