URGENT APPEAL: HNearly 18 Million People in Yemen Can No Longer Afford Food

Yemen, already grappling with one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, is home to 34.45 million people. Of these, 17 million face food insecurity, and over 80% live in poverty.

The national socioeconomic systems of Yemen remain on the edge of total collapse, while conflict, large-scale displacement and recurring climate shocks have left families vulnerable to communicable diseases outbreaks. Millions of children lack access to a proper meal, safe water and sanitation and hygiene services.

What’s even more heartbreaking is that these conditions have only worsened in 2024.

As humans, we can not let this continue any longer than it already has.

In this time of need, Good Deed Charity has identified food to be the most crucial aid item that these people require.

With adequate food, starving people in Yemen will have enough energy to sustain themselves and adequate nutrition to not just survive, but also to thrive.

As 2024 comes to a close, we ask for your support to provide for 500 starving and vulnerable families at just $50 a month per family. These are families who have gone days without food and will likely continue to suffer unless you step in to offer your support.

As the year ends, Yemen’s condition worsens even further due to harsh winters.

With no food, no shelter, and no way to protect themselves from the cold, hundreds of people in Yemen lose their battle for life on a daily basis.
